[Enough Plumbers]

Very good!

This is a very good game, and you really deserved your frontpage. I really like the style you're going for! I think i'm not the only one by saying that this game reminds me of mario, also because the characters are plumbers. Rip-off in a positive way, i don't get what the rest of the game has to do with plumbers but still it's very cool.

The level designs were great, i can see that you worked hard on designing the levels. Another good point is that this game is really challenging which kept me busy playing it, and it also works a bit addicting! There is a good variety of items and additional stuff, my complimenst for that also!

The medals are quite hard and very challenging to get, i still can't stand the fact that i haven't acquired the easy way medal yet, which is brilliant because you keep people playing your game this way! I will still give it a shot soon i think.

In my opinion, the only negative point about this game is that the fireballs are maybe a tiny bit too sensitive. I felt that i didn't touch the fireball and just died, so that was pretty frustrating at some points. But still, it doesn't matter much because the rest of the controls and the programming are excellent! The sound the plumbers made was lol (ping, papi! :P)

What i also liked is the cloning. So simple, but a great idea! It really gives the game something challenging. I found the 'coin-jumping' (see level 4) a great idea as well. I can see you brainstormed about this game well.

Over all a very nice game which really deserves frontpage. Great idea, great controls, and nice graphics. Works addicting and is challenging. Keep it up!

[One Too Many]

Great game, only a few bad things.

Decent game, but it's got some negative points. To start with, there is no higher score than 100 possible. Tons of people on the highscore list have the same score, which creates no challenge/competition/fun between the players. I think if you based it on time, and not on accuracy, it would have been more fun because there would not be a maximum score that way.

What i've noticed is that there is one default order. In my opinion, it would be better and more challenging if the order was random everytime, this really tests the skill of the player better.

And then the music. It's a loop of 3 seconds with only a bass in it. You could make the game nicer if you added better music! Also, some bottles are hard to read. It took me a while to figure out which bottle i had to shoot.

However, i think you did a great job on the rest of the game, the rest was wesome! Great graphics, and you also worked very detailed! Think of every bottle having a different animation when it is shot, and also not having one default shot sound. Great job! You're talented and i'm sure you could make many awesome things in the future. Keep it up!

[James Replay EGP edition]

A nice effort.

The fact that you can freeze your character to a platform is a very decent idea, and i've never seen anything like that in a platform game before. It's fun to create your 'own' platforms to finish the level, so well done on that!

On to the rest of the game, the controls are just a tiny bit unlogic for me. I think not many people are used to use Z to jump for example, so for example the space bar would have been better. It doesn't really matter as it's easy enough though. But still, very simple controls and lots of fun!

I really like the style you're going for, considering this looks like an old game with 8-bit music. Who says that can't be fun? It's simple, but cool.

I think you could have added some additional stuff. As i played it, it's only grabbing a key and going to a chest. Fun enough, but if you invented stuff like items or enemies, which i didn't see in this game, it would have been even more challenging! Also, the levels get more difficult quite fast. It would have been nice if you added more backgrounds / level styles, just makes the game more interesting in my opinion. Maybe you should have added one or two more music tracks, as there's only one in this game.

Over all this a very nice game which works even a bit addicting. A really nice effort. But you can make it more fun / challening. I'd like to see more of your work. Keep it up!

i agree with you.. i also think the game has a lot of potential and i should expand it more and more..
this particular edition (EGP edition) is for the experimental gameplay competition, normally you have a different theme each month and this time the theme was "repeat".
due to the limited time this is the best i could do.. but i'll surely work again on this in the future to release a complete version with more levels, graphics and everything else.. :)

[iPhone Throw]

Needs some work.

The graphics style is very simple, yet it's not bad! But this game needs some tweaks. I think the Ipod has to 'bounce' more, as it stops quite fast. I also noticed that tons of people have the '546' score, which seems like any higher isn't possible. That's why additional stuff would be good. Put stuff in it that makes the Ipod go further when landed on. Or indeed, as the guy below me said, put medals and items in it. Nothing to complain about the controls, nothing to complain about the programmers. Fix these points and you can set up a great game.

[Jumping Fun]

Needs some work.

The idea behind this game is decent and challenging, considering the power estimation one needs for playing this game. I also have nothing to complain about the graphics. In fact, the graphics for this game are neat.

But that doesn't take away the fact that this game needs some work. For example, if the kid lands in the water, i can let it jump again and again. This way, i can glitch myself to the end. The jumping should be disabled when drowning.

The music could also be improved. You could make this game more fun if you placed the right music. The music heard in this game is a constantly repeating loop of like five seconds, that isn't very amusing.

Decent idea, but this game just needs a few more tweaks to become a good game.

Very Good.

I have just played this for like half an hour. This is a very addictive game. Good job on finding a concept like that! Kind of simple, yet so addicting! Smooth controls. The music fits with the game. I like how the background changes every time you play. Nice effects, i like how the triangle leaves all little triangles after him. Also, the screen control is very nice! I think the game might be just a bit more fun if you added additional stuff like items. But that doesn't really matter. You truly made a good game here! Keep this up.

[Heli Adventure]

Meh...

Well, the graphics really aren't great. The idea is decent, but the game still needs a lot of tweaks. To start with, your wall-detection is very poor. I can go through many walls easily and only a few walls really send me back to start. Also, you didn't bother adding music or sound effects, which would make the game already more fun. Then there is no additional stuff. It's getting stars and avoiding walls only. This way, the game gets boring after a while. Improve on these points, and you can submit a good game.

Ok.

Well, at least it's better than all those maze games you see around here that are totally crap. The game is not original, but the rest is decent. Some sound would be nice. Also, it's very easy to cheat using the right mouse button, try to fix that.

Not good.

There's nothing wrong with the graphics, and that's direclty the only good point about this game. First off, i would add some music or sound effects. This would make the game more fun to play.

Second, this game is too difficult. You can't really see what to do, because the player has no clue where the angry man goes. What can you do about it? Make the angry man go slower for example. The hit detection of the fists is also too sensitive.

Third, you didn't really bother adding additional stuff in the game. Like special items, or a timer when the angry man gets tired. That last thing is nicer for the player. Having no clue when the angry man stops is a bit annoying.

Final verdict, this is just not a good game which needs some work. This way it's too difficult and boring.

This game ROCKS! It must have been a lot of work. Great idea, great graphics. There are so many things to see in this game. Nothing to complain. I've really enjoyed playing this! Keep awesomeness like this up!
